i had a friend pick up two oil filters form my Roadster today, the part number is different from the other I have purchased and the filter looks a lot shorter.
The guy at the Triumph shop said all Triumph oil filters are the same.
Does anyone have the genuine part number.

The filter I last used - T1210444
The one the Triumph shop sold me - T1218001
I also have a Purolator - PSL14610

The triumph website lists T1218001 as the correct filter. I have heard that this filter superseded the t1210444 a while back, perhaps this is the reason for confusion..

For what its worth, maybe for a cross reference, I've used K&N 204 since I got the bike and there was a K&N 191 on my spare engine when I got it - I believe others have used the 204 and 191 also.

Used wix on a 2005 Bonnie for 105,000 miles. Now using wix 51358 on the rocket X. Fits up good and cover fits up good to. The nice thing about it is can be purchased at any O'Reillys auto store for $12.49. Oops did not look at the country's talking about filters.

Both Triumph part numbers are correct Jim.
Aftermarket (ie non-genuine) 204 works too.

I just picked up an oil filter for my '14 Roadster from a dealer this week. P/N T1218001. Don't forget, "Triumph genuine part to be fitted by a trained mechanic."
