I know we don't do 4 wheels

What you may not know is that the Austin emblem on the bonnet is rare as bro in original condition and worth a lot more than you realise also the front fender lights ( on the top ). Try and find them in a hurry, you might be lucky to find any at all, if you do you will pay through the nose for them. Good on you for tackling it. Should come up good. It may be ugly in one mans opinion but hey it's unique.
Nice Jag but c'mon compare apples with apples. Fair dinkum mate.

Yes Malcy she is definitely an A35.. the engines a 948 might upgrade to a 1275 but not really thinking about the running gear yet..lots of upgrades available from midgets.First thing is to check out is the bodywork for tin worm. She is being delivered on Saturday morning and i cannot wait to get stuck in.

Just join the Austin A35 etc owners club sure those guys will help along the way with any problems..:)

Thanks for your encouragement Malcy..Yes i think another A35 saved from the scrapheap would be a good thing..You don't see many A35s on the roads in the UK but when i do it makes me smile.

Due to the cars age 1959 it's tax and mot exempt another little bonus.

Good on you for picking an not so common car to restore ,I would Imagine the more attractive and popular Morris Minors would be in the majority as far as restoration of British small cars go, a few years ago I restored and Hot rodded a 1948 Ford V8 Pilot to use as an every day driver just because they were a bit rare in Australia

Good on you Ant bought back memories of when I was in my teens at Yass one of the local coppers had one with a complete MG drivetrain in it, he had done some serious work to the engine it used to fly,he had also lowered it and it handle well as well the then current pursuit cop car a Holden Torana XU1 was battling to stay with it ... it was quick
Oh and he had painted it British Racing Green looked good

That is a wild, cool looking ride. I think it would be great on narrow streets. Reminds me of an old 007 car that could do all kinds of wild crazy stuff and still out run the bad guys. JMHO and from an American car nut. lol

Been busy..Plenty of tin worm.
