High-intensity rear/brake LED?

Since you both have Baggers, take a look at the 2 extra LED lights I added to mine. They are flush mount 39 Ford from Rodworx.

Bill,
I'm thinking that the outboard slant of your LED tail lights would affect their ability to be seen from the rear.
I have these and according to comments from those behind me, they work very well.

Being canted over slightly from perpendicular doesn't effect the visible light. However yes it is true since most available LED tail light have a narrow width range of 100% viewing the lights mounted on the angled part of the bag are somewhat dimed to the eye directly behind. But still bright enough to see. Now the eye in the next lane sees them really good.

Heh heh heh, but that guy will miss your ass!!! :p

I tried both red and white. Was not pleased with either.

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered a red one to see for myself, the cost isn't that high. And at least a LED should pretty much never burn out on you, so there's that. But if it sucks I'll just put the incandescent back in and go to plan B, whatever that is.

Looking at the Thunderbird Commander, the rear light looks pretty similar to the Tourings. £84 at WorldOfTriumph, but listed as not available...

The price I quoted was on bike bandit.

If I could figure out how to download a 15 min video from my phone, I would post a short showing the difference.

I didn't even see you recommend the Storm rear light until you mentioned you quoted a price. What kind of minor modifications are we talking, ie how minor? Just curious.

The mounting holes and wire connectors are different.
