Well I got the 05 rocket from Dan Deery Toyota on Tues the 9th. They miss represented the bike at least the salesman did. I took it anyway. The guy who traded it in failed afro engineering class so must work at an abortion clinic, because of the F*cked up things he did to this poor bike he needs to be shot. He ripped the baffle out of one of the pipes destroing the chrome, he wired up the led lights and didnt use wire ties along with a cig lighter, he used 3m tape and cut it on top of the paint yes I said on top, he glued the tank bib to the tank yes glued, he had the oil over filled by 1qt, to top it off the one pipe he took the baf out of had no gasket and none of the pipes had any clamps holding them to the cat box, what a rapest huh. I have most of it fixed just waiting for the mufflers I found on ebay to come. I got those for $90 plus shipping. I changed the oil fixed the slow leak if the rear tire(needed a new stem)I unhooked the wire abortion for the time being. Made a gasket out of muffler wrap till the new mufflers come and found some clamps to keep the mufflers on. I cleaned the whole bike, paint, chrome and engine. Here are some pictures for you. I took it for a good ride and to say this thing is fast would a an understatement. I own and have been on some fast bike but this thing is a blast. It is a little slower then my Vmax but not much maybe a couple of 10ths in the q mile. Tell me what you think.

As @R3Tex said it certainly looks like it is in good hands now, a Big Welcome From Auss will look forward to more pictures as you give her some TLC and then start the inevitable performance Mods you will be surprised at how easily and at low cost you can gain an extra 20 HP :D

G'day and welcome. Once you get it sorted you will have some great riding. I'm guessing you are in Iowa, would that be correct?

Thanks to all. And no i live in Youngstown Ohio. I bought the bike in Iowa.
