Hey all , still having dramas , cant get the cable into the bottom lever , am i suppose to hook the cable up before i put the lever on the splined shaft ( cant line the dots up that way ) or after the lever is on ? i cant get any leverage on it to move it into a position where i can get the cable in when its already on the splined shaft, i nearly put a lump of wood through the radiator and i tried levering with a screwdriver but that was just damaging the engine and the lever, please help im starting to ***ing lose my shiittt with this, already had to throw a sickie today and need the bike to get to work tomorrow....

There was no way in hell i could turn that shaft counter clockwise with my fingers, had to get a multigrip on there to turn it, still couldnt get both dots to line up either , out about one spline. instead of having 2-3mm freeplay on the lever i have 5-6 , will this cause a problem ? From what im understanding it's bad to have to much tension on the cable i have nil, need to take it for a ride to see if i have enough to disengage the clutch now.
