That's Frawley's garage was a Shell servo. Closed down and the building has been condemed. I went to school with Andrew Frawley.

that picture was taken 4 years ago.

But you didn't explain how ya got the WOODENBONG under your NAME?

I guess that some moderator is giving out customs??

Why do I have 0.020 over?

I changed it myself I don't remember how. I think I went into signature and followed the steps. I might be biased but Woodenbong in the middle of the McPherson Ranges is the best part of Australia I have seen.

That is a Nimbin secret!

I was wondering how Bruce got the woodenbong under his name?
Just had a good look at the photo of Frawleys garage. Thats Bruce Pethers getting into his 4x4 with one of his hunting dogs. He's a good mate of our's was in Julies grade all through school. He owns the engineering shop beside the old garage opposite the pub. If Mittzy ever breaks a clutch lever at Woodenbong he's the man to fix it.

Here is one opposite the pub when we went October last year

Joe Watson has long gone, his son Les passed away last year. 2 of his grandsons now run the business they used to do earthmoving, roadworks, pipe laying, general freight to Lismore daily (carried the beer for the pub) and have a fleet of buses. They sold all except the buses 5 or 6 years ago. Another grandson owns the service station on the other corner of the pub intersection. My dad drove a grader for Les for several years in the 1980's.

Was good ride that ;) most Rocket I've ever seen together was at our first RDU at Hervey Bay .. had 26 there then. Ride from Brissy to the Bay with a dozen other Rockets on the back roads was a ride i'll remember forever.
