Im guessing the air is alot different from south Louisiana and Austrailia. Reband says this pipe puts out 169hp. Im way off with that. It sure looks to be a real good tune. You can see on the A/F that it starts to lean just under 6000 rpm's. The tuner said he was giving all the gas he could.
Well here it is. The red line is a map that a friend sent me using numbers from another members bike running more power. Same set up as mine. This is why Im thinking our difference in climate makes a big difference in our numbers. (Thoughts?) The blue is a custom tune done by Triumph Dealer using Tuneecu in New Orleans. When bone stock on a different dyno the numbers were 123.70 hp 143.79 tq

25% over stock is a healthy increase on any engine - especially given it 'only' cost a pipe and filter.

Is your fuel filter clean? WOT at high revs is where it will run short on fuel if it is a bit clogged.

Different fuel, air temps, humidity, and air pressure will all affect the performance. The only real test is base line and improvement on the same dyno.

That is showing something like a 77% increase in hp and 70% increase in torque at 3000 revs, is that really possible?

ACTUALLY another Rocket owner said he installed a Reband and he ended up with 151 HP ??? but expected 170+???

Thanks for posting that Boudreaux, that is pretty much the set up I was planning on mine after the warranty runs out. I would be real tempted to take it over to Wayne at Power-Tripp and let him have a go at it. I reckon that there are still some ponies hiding in there that he could find.

all settings on Gipro atre.jpg

Mine with Reband and Ramair filter. All the different runs were with the Gi pro atre at different settings. I never had a tune for the Rebands. Told I would get about another 6hp with right tune. Bike is now in pieces having 2nd gear issue update fixed and while apart a cam, pistons and clutch upgrade. Told will be about 203rwhp when I get her back :)

That is what I would doing, Wayne Tripp is your 'Mercian tuning guru

Tripp is the best but his readouts are ~25% lower than the typical dyno. He uses a different configuration of dyno. Can't tell you any more than that cuz I got lost in his explanation. If you go over there (and I recommend you do,) remember if you are limited on time DON'T ASK HIM ANY QUESTIONS! He will stop whatever he is doing and begin with the basics and give you a college education on whatever you ask. He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to speed equipment in general and especially on Rockets.
