Another Custom Exhaust system

They look like they are tuned length header pipes ? Must be great having access to stuff like a mandrel bender.

I have built them myself using his gear so its mates rates sofar.

We have spoken about possibly doing a jig and him making them if there is enough interest
I'm back there Friday to hopefully finish it off so I will talk to him about pricing etc.

He had his BMW (Parri dakar type thing) dynoed by Fred at ProCycles and he took the pipes to show him and he thought a single muffler version should be good......which would be easy enough to do

I'm interested ! Are your chrome plated ?

They look like chrome. I didn't know you could polish ceramic and make it look like that. That's the the best set of headers I've seen. Wonder if they would flow enough for a carpenter engine...............

Always curious .. was the merge collector a bought one or manufactured along with the rest of the system. What flanges did you use mate , the stockies or something else. ?

Les had then CNC made I think - He measured my stock headers up...

No prob's TC, happy to answer any questions....... Thanks to Mittzy he loaned me his stock headers and I had them Digitized and then CNC
The merge collector is the same as Burns type with the pyramid in the centre but my mate makes his own....... there is alot in the angle of the pipe into the collector etc

Managed to have a couple of hours back on it today, so fitted up the pipes and working on the mufflers.

I want to stay with the 3 pipes look and slash cut ends....... we are using good ol "curly girl" steel wool for packing
