Hi All,
Just got the R3R back from Procycle Dyno. 159.41 HP @5700RPM and 163.94 Ft/lb Torque @4500RPM:p
Same Pipes as Ponters Headers
K&N Tripples under Bearclaw
Neville Lush Tune sent to Fred @ Procycle to fine tune.

Got the Pipes through Nev and the filters from another member here.

Man have those pipes got some growl:eek: But quiet enough to top gear doing 60 - 70 Kph.

Runs a bit rough down low and may even has a hicup rolling the throttle back on arround a corner at times:(.

Fred mentioned something about a idle step motor (or something).
Rides different - just got to get used to it.........

Leaving Procycle dyno I broke traction while moving with out effort, I suspect cos the torque rolls on @2700 rpm.

Couple of things to finish off.....
  1. Clean excess silicone off the flange.
  2. install carbon fibre heat shield
  3. modify cover to rear foot peg
  4. Ride the socks off it:D
Might investigate a baffle??? and would like it to run smoother. Thoughts anyone:confused:

ALL COMMENTS WELCOME

Fred would know ;) .. oh and take it easy. I know when I rode my bike home from Freds I couldn't help but nail it every chance I got. Catherine was trying to follow me in the ute and gave me a serve about f#cking off at every set of lights :D

I know what you mean. ....... I gave it a first full turning into perse road off compton road....lucky I slowed down cos a copper was trying to get around the car he had just booked to get a reading on me. ...I would've been 60 klms over the limit

Is your bike a bit rough in places?

When does it run rough ,when you are backing off around 2000rpm?

Thats a nice early max torque curve, mine doesnt get that with the Jards till about 3200 and it only gets 150 something.
I still have the standard filter, but I am planning on the Reband and triple K&Ns.

Ric repacked mine after Nev dynoed it, it would be wort checking cause mine are not as noisy as staintunes at idle, jardines are up well and truly another level. Mine runs noticeably better at low speed, a lot smoother than stock. Nev has it so on start up it'll idle for a few seconds a bitt higher, said it ups the oil flow, smooth as at low speed

Seems a bit hesitant when picking up the throttle after slowdown, idles a bit rough too.

Your best bet would be to check the idle step motor 1st and then see how that goes.

Fred Mentioned something about that!!!! But that was on the phone and he was in a hurry to get ready to go overseas. said he spent half a day on it????
