    I'm buying another one

I have owned a 2012 roadster and sold it. I miss it so I am probably going to buy a 2009. It is my understanding that at 2009 year model all the factory improvements were made, making the 2009 through 2019 virtually the same bike. Is this true? If not please enlighten me as I do not want to buy...

[ Thanks again Clavinger. I took it to "Triumph of Seattle" in Greenlake. They are new and didn't really hear it like I had. He was at low speed and near the shop. The sound does get louder when at 30 mph and above and coasting with clutch disengaged or neutral. . Its not a straight cut gear...

Idling while bike is stopped, no noise. Idle or in gear moving, noise.

Motor speed does not affect it. Bike speed does. Naturally it is more noticable when the clutch is pulled and bike coasting wether in gear or nuetral because the motor is quiet from being at idle and the bike moving. Thats why i ask if this is normal noise on all rockets. Sounds like junk to me.

NOt my tire noise. This noise I have from the transmission or final drive, near my footpegs. Sounds like bad bearings. never gets worse, only after oil heats up.

I will work on your suggestion and make sure cables and inner grip are clean and as free as they can be. Haha, reminds me of my dopey attempt on my v-max years ago. I greased the throttle tube! It wouldn't even return to idle!
