@1olbull No, that's the America we bought for Amanda a few years back. It's the one she had her accident on unfortunately. She got back onto a Street Triple a year or so ago and has just a few weeks ago "upgraded" to a Street Twin. It's a bit small but a bloody nice little scoot anyway - and perfect for her. She wasn't using 1/10th of the capability of the Street Triple and is now pushing the Twin quite quickly. Horses for courses, and the Street Twin seems to be perfect for her.

We have a new 1200 Bonne Black in the showroom at work. I have my eye on it, although I'm starting to lean towards a Thruxton.

I been drooling over that Thruxton R.
Can't decide if I want a forth motor or do a Carp on my R3R.

@1olbull Appart from the occasional satisfaction of being able to open up a Carped Rocket, I reckon the Thruxton would be a far more enjoyable and rewarding acquisition on a daily basis. There's a great video review online of one.

Love the Thruxton, but I'd have to sit one.
Do the new T120 models have pegs/seat positions the same as the Thruxton?
Can one get the upgraded suspension and forks of the Thruxton on a T120?

@1olbull T120 position is much the same as the current Bonne and not sporty like the Thruxton. The Bonnes are infinitely more comfortable in my opinion. You could upgrade a T120 to Thruxton spec suspension but not as an option - and it would cost WAY too much. An Ohlins rear shock would be at least $4,000 and the forks probably more. If you really wanted the suspension (and the Brembos) you'd be better off buying a Thruxton R and playing with pegs and bars.

I haven't ridden either bike yet (and it's killing me) but from the numbers, while the Thruxton makes slightly better torque (112Nm v 109Nm) it's at almost double the revs. 16 more horses too but also at higher revs. T120 wouldn't be slow and I reckon would be a much more enjoyable bike with all that torque peaking at just 3100rpm. Thruxton of course would be exciting as as get up but would need to be ridden hard to properly enjoy - and frankly who really does that??

Just my 2c worth.
