I would run the 20050 _2 tune from the Tuneboy site.

Here is Tuneboy's 20050_2 tune imported into Triumph's latest 20222 tune.

It would be good for TOR's and K&N
I have also added some fuel in the appropriate places in the L tables to help with decel popping.

Triple K&N, Jardines, no Secondaries no O2 sensor

I recently installed the triple K&N's, removed secondaries, and installed
TuneBoy. I have Jardines and disconnected PCIII & left O2 sensor unplugged.

I'm running the latest 20222Jardine for Pod Filters but seem to be running a little
lean. I've been richening up the 0TP area to lessen the decel popping but haven't
found the sweet spot yet.

Q. Anyone have a "better" map for my set up they could share?

I have a modified version that helps the decel popping that I'll post later today.

Give this one a try

http://www.mediafire.com/?2vl2puzzo4p

this is Tuneboy's Jardine tune with some added in the right places for decel popping. If it is still an issue I can add more.

Wow, this tune has even more balls than the 20222Jardine map in Waynes new set.

I rode 75 miles and the decel popping is pretty much gone. Nice job.

I did notice that the 20222 map was a bit smoother at idle though (although it
was set a little higher reving than I'd like and did surge +-10RPM and never
settled to a constant purr).

This one locks in but is a bit rough. I see that 0TP is set to 610 for all cells in
L1,2,3. I've seen other maps where L2 is slightly higher than L1 and L3 is higher yet
but am not sure if that would account for this? Guess I can try it...

The 20222Jardine and 20145Jardine maps seem to have a lag at around 2000RPM at lower
TP's with the 20145 above being less pronounced.

Only the L1,L2, and L3 tables are different. I don't see a map compare feature in TB
like PCIII has so its hard to see the deltas.

Is there a way to average two maps in TB?

Actually all I need is to know which cells
to look at for idle adjustments and take the ratio from 20222 and apply it to the 20145
Jardine map above and thats about all I could do prior to a final Dyno tune.

Thanks again.

tunes

I have to say my bike is working very nice with the 20005-3 tune. Thanks, Wayne and company at TuneBoy! I've got 14000 miles on this set-up and its a real sweet running scoot. The 02 sensor is gone, plugged and sealed with muffler fix to take the heat and vibes of the V&H pipes.

Hey Robert - thanks again for the BBQ Dinner and tour! Your bobber inspired me
to go to the next level of intake mods.

I brought up the 3D maps for the 20222Jardine and 20145Jardine maps
and "eye balled" a smoothed out version and got rid of the 1800-2000
RPM dip and the other "bump" at TP597. The new map seems to run
smoother too.

I also tried 610,620,650 0TP L1,L2,L3 from 1000 to 2600RPM but I noticed
that I had strange surges in that range (high reving w/out throttle twist for
5 seconds periodically). I'll try 610,615,620 in the morning to see if it
correlates to this change in 0TP mapping.

Still looking for a Dyno shop that will let me use Tuneboy in emulation mode...

Tribal my last post got lost when the site lost its cookies. So...

The reason the tune I posted felt like it had more punch than Wayne's 20145Jardines tune is because he forgot to go "full power" with the ignition maps. So whoever is running that tune isn't get what they should/could. Here is the 20145tune imported into 20222. I also copied the ignition tables from the 20050_2 tune where Wayne worked on the timing by retarding it some to compensate for the increase flow of triples and modified exhaust. I got 146hp 148ftlbs with that set up. After dyno tune with a PCIII I got 152hp and 155ftlbs. The simpliest way to get a dyno tune is to use a PCIII then import the map into your tuneboy map. I offer my PCIII for rental for such purposes.

Here is the tune.
