Rear Brakes

I getting ready for my trip to Co for the RAA and decided to change all the brakes. Front went great rear is a problem. I have a set of TRIUMPH up grade pads (Sintered) part # T2020077, the metal is the same the pads are to thick, they won't fit in the caliper with the disc. Wrong pads??

im guessing you have taken the top off the reservoir and pushed the pistons fully back into the caliper

They should fit. Have you (or anyone else) topped up the brake fluid since the pads we last changed? If so, it may be that the pistons won't go all the way in. As I think rolandrat is trying to say, you may need to remove the top of the reservoir - and watch for any overflow.

not the problem. the pads just are to thick. I pulled and extra caliper I had and the pads fit the same. I looked up the # and it doesn't say what motorcycle it fits. http://www.triumphmcparts.com/products/Brake-Pad-Set--x-2-Pads-Contains-2-Pads/9937955/T2020077.html I'm lost the old pads stay in.

There's a button on that page that says "Show" under fitment. I don't see the Rocket on the list. Maybe wrong pads?
