Had a chance to throw the powder coated fixing kit on today. I like the look...

And here it is with Bailey's light grey tinted shield...

powder coated sissy bar and luggage rack next. Hopefully I'll have enough time this week to throw them on.

Looks good Phil. Must say those black mirrors look even more like Mickey Mouse ears than the chrome ones. Ovals or tear drops would be my unsolicited suggestion (hope you don't mind) and give you better vision too.

I don't mind the suggestion at all. My imagination hasn't made it to the mirrors yet. Now that you mentioned it I'll probably start noticing them more in the pictures of other peoples bikes. My first impression of the stock mirrors was that they reminded me of an Austin Healey which I sort of liked.

Dime city cycles 3" bar ends using 1" mounting adaptors on mine. Rock solid at any speed no vibration at all and I can see without moving my arms/hands. Love the less cluttered look above the grips.

Here are some pics. If you decide you want this style of mirror I highly recommend ordering a pair of bike master 1" bar end adapters as are in the photo. The 7/8 adapters can work but are nowhere near as stable as these ones. The reason I recommend the DCC version is that they can be tightened enough they are actually a pain to move. I have a bad habit of bumping them when I walk by and they dont move, can see out of them well over a ton without issue:)

That looks really sharp! First time I've seen bar end mirrors on a rocket. Very nice.

Thanks. Once I get shorter cables, remove the LM-2 mount, get an angry flyscreen on, and powder coat the upper triple it'll be where I want it. It never ends :)
