So I got a pair of extra Roadster OEM mufflers and Id like to make them free flowing. There is a good thread ”another way to skin the cat” on removing the catalytic converters but has anyone completely gutted these exhausts without destroying the chrome?
my plan was to gut these completely and put in a straight through perforated pipe along with fiberglass packing. Tho if this turns out to be impossible, I will settle for just decatting these and see what comes of it. I dont want to make them obnoxiously loud, just want a little bit of that performance and free flow of exhausts.
Id appreciate any input if this project is even viable or reasonable.
