Gas prices and mileage

If you sit down and work out what it takes to produce a gallon of petrol(gas) we have it pretty cheap, petrol does not grow on trees or fall from the sky.
Now I am talking about the US price you Aussies and my fellow Brits are getting screwed:D I still blame Thatcher for the high prices in the UK in fact I blame her for everything except my morning wood:mad:
 
1 US gallon = 3.78541 litres
1 imperial gallon = 4.54609 litres

You should use regular unleaded, Bruce - provided you can get it without ethanol. Bike will run better and save yourself 15c a litre - near $3 a tank. I put $3 in a jar each time I fill up and will put it towards new brake pads or next tyre, whatever. Better than just sending it out the exhaust.

I got the bike dynoed on 98 and thought it not good to change but I might give 91 or 95 a go. I'm a bit from the old school super in car and bike standard in the victa.
