It sucks when you look out side and your bike can't go out to play. Why not make it productive time.
I can not remember the proper name but brake fluid will over time absorbed water. This does all sorts of nasty things to the insides of your EXPENSIVE master cylinders and calipers. I believe the manual says to change the fluid every two years. I do it once a year. I figure $3.00 and 20 minutes is not a drain on me.
Over the years I have helped a of of friends with their bikes. and the brake fluids are the most overlooked. Out of the can the fluid looks like tap water, yet it not uncommon to see it the color of the tires. Also old fluid does not perform as it is suppose to , you will be surprised at the improvement the new fluid will bring.
One last point>> It is better to do theses little jobs now, than wait until the weather turns nice and the highway is calling.
