    RAA Oklahoma-Arkansas?

Just under 2000kms each way. I'm riding a T120 Bonneville these days and it's comfy enough but not sure if my decrepit old frame could ride that far. I'll be discussing a new hip with my doctor next week so we'll see.

Then and now a thread; post first/current Roadster pics

https://www.r3owners.net/media/100-0005.9469/ It doesn't get newer than this! If you scroll backwards you will see the bike being put together and finally me sitting on the final product. First Rocket in Canada and supposedly number 12 off the line.

First Valve Check for Fiona, my '14 R3T...

I think it's more likely a holdover fromt the problems the early bikes had with no idle or idling at 2000 rpm and nobody had an answer. It became like a black art to fix it. We were told to never use the sidestand or the cutoff switch because it was "confusing" the ECU. It took about three...

    Au revoir Rocket III

I just realised that for the first time in 27 years I don't own a triple!

    Au revoir Rocket III

It's just like back in 2004 when I bought my Rocket III. First thing to do was put real shocks on it and later a Corbin seat. The Rocket went at the same time as the Bonneville showed up but I suspect it would have sat in the garage most of the time too.

    Au revoir Rocket III

I bought the '75 as a neglected chopper. Returned it to stock and it fired up on the first press of the button. I was surprised as I knew it was referred to as an electric assist rather than a starter. No Idea what has been done to it over the last 48 years but it spins the engine over easily...

    Au revoir Rocket III

I have to get on here more often! To be honest I've been riding the Bonneville a lot and find it awesome. Meeting up with the Ol' Bull sounds like a great idea. I'm about 45 minutes north of Toronto and there will always be a bed here if you cross the border. I wore my joints out racing...

Can’t find replacement Avon Cobra rear tire. Suggestions.

Yep, much cheaper, handles better in dry or rainy conditions and lasts longer than the Avon or Metzeler.

    Riding solo

It's just you ....lol I know half a dozen local to me in the Toronto area but they are not a common bike.

    Au revoir Rocket III

Yeah I do a bit of pushing and shufffling of bikes. There are days when walking out to the garage is enough but hopefully a new hip will fix that. I have owned the red Norton in the back for 45 years but it is up for sale and is being replaced by the black one in the foreground which came from...

The only time I heard of that hapening is with forced induction causing ring blowby pressurising the crankcase.
