    head shake cw, if the new tire doesn't help then try a heavier oil in the front forks... 15 weight is a good starting point. greg

    the front axle beds by threads on one side only ... this doesn't take up lateral free play on the spacers as such. you must 'drift' the pinch bolt side over to take up any remaining free play that is left to eliminate any oscillation . this applies to standard & classics R-3's with "upside...

    the issue is probably the loose spacer fit between the front forks... loosen the pinch bolts, the push up and down on the front forks via the handle bar... then just snug up the pinch bolts. go get a soft face rubber mallet. gently drift the forks together till they're snug against...
