    Rocket Sightings

    Late Aug Cripple Creek MIA/POW rally, saw five almost had a heart attack. Three had riders and the other two were at a Triumph tent. Imagine that Triumph finally showing up for a rally. Lots of buzz as well.

    No doubt Harley country here in Colorado but there seems to be more and more interest in the R3's. In my opinion it's just a better product. Problem is getting the low information folks or brand name loyalists to do their due diligence.

    Sucks to hear what you're going though. Got rid of my HD Roadking earlier this year for the R3roadster. Been my experience that I never expect much, if anything from the add ons on a bike in a dealer trade. True to form I didn't get dollar wise what I had hoped as well. As for selling on EBAY...

    Went to the POW/MIA rally in CrippleCreek Co and ran into 5 of them. To my surprise I also saw a Triumph tent advertising the beasts as well as other bikes. Maybe Triumph is getting their act together. about time:cool:

    Congats and welcome to the site. Got Corbin hard bags for mine. Luv em and I think they look good too. The company will color match your paint when you purchase them too. If you picked up your bike from Foothills Triumph you'll be pleased with the service. Perhaps we'll run into each other.

    Thinking of buying a Roadster

    First welcome from Colorado. Second, Just buy one! you won't have any regrets. Did the same as you're thinking. Sold my 08 Roadking and I don't miss her. The Roadking was a good bike but it really does not compare to the rocket... IMHO;)
