You guys are having yourselves on. If you look through the workshop manual to the section on pre-delivery, you will see the method of re-setting the odometer to zero using the factory dealer tool.
It's a once-only operation, at least.
Yeah it's a great idea. Download all your years of knowledge and - importantly - experience, for the young-uns to digest, save themselves so much time, and avoid all the mistakes.
But you know what? Mostly, they're not interested. :thumbsdown:
Be very wary about current draw when playing with modern electrickery. High current where none was intended in the design can end up very expensive. Wiring is very light, most operations are triggered by a "delicate" E.C.U.
