    WHICH MOTOR OIL ............?????

Cant see how you can go wrong by using what grade Triumph recommend - the brand is basically down to personal preference. All I would add is cost should not be an issue, saving a few dollars/pounds/euro's on what is an engines life blood doesn't make sense, IMHO.

    Roadster silencers on a classic?

Done it on my Classic, purely for looks as I didn't like the triple splayed out look of the originals. As others have said, there's no performance gain but that wasn't an issue for me, and I've had enough of loud pipes. They actually have a deeper note which is preferable imo. I fitted the...

RamAir filter for Touring model ?

Same on my Classic, a knock or slapping noise - comes in around 2000 revs and again around 3000, loudness depending on throttle opening. A drawback on any under bearclaw filter it seems, I'm not sure I can live with to be honest. Chris (barbagris) on here reckons he has quietened his down by...

    Highway to Heaven

For sure everyone should have the kind of funeral they want - but what a waste of money. I've told my Missus if she wastes money on my funeral I'll come back and haunt her - she can put me in an old tea chest and burn me in the back garden for all I care. Keep the money for the family except...

    David & Goliath

Which is which? I'll have to think about that one. :D The story ending would likely be reversed in this case. ;) Maybe they should be Beauty and the Beast? 'Adoption' likely tomorrow, that was why I had to get them together today.

RamAir filter for Touring model ?

They're definitely not made in China, I've been to the factory and it wasn't that far from home. :whitstling: As far as I know the base is moulded silicone rubber which by its nature is 'slippery', so would agree about cleaning all surfaces. I found it was too easy to not have it seated right...

    57 classic handlebars

I had a problem with my Classic bars but before forking out for a replacement I twisted them down a tad and found that they were much more comfortable. Might be worth trying before spending your hard earned. If you do it, check clearance bar-to-tank both ways before locking up screws. I have...

    Rocket owners average age!

67 and starting to feel it. Good to see some young'uns on here - I do wonder about the future for biking in the UK, young people are so discouraged from getting involved by regulation over here.

    Anybody got a white rocket?

A friend of mine had a white one and have to say it didn't look half bad. He did px it for a black one in the end but his other bikes are all Harley's. :whitstling:

Bike Dyno tuned today. Not what I was expecting.

That is showing something like a 77% increase in hp and 70% increase in torque at 3000 revs, is that really possible?
