For Sale SOLD Triumph "Comfort" Shocks

I can't confirm that they will fit an R3T. I assume they would, but I have no way of confirming it. They are 12.5" eye to eye. Maybe someone else can chime in?

For Sale 2005 Triumph Rocket III (Needs Work)

Thanks Cootertwo... It really isn't a bad bike.. just needs work, or buy a low mileage motor off of Ebay and throw in it. In the long run, I probably should have done that. I will leave it for sale for a while, and if it doesn't sell... I will just start parting it out. If I didn't...

For Sale Leatherlyke Contemporary Style Saddlebags

They are probably 8 years old. I traded for them used back in 2008. They do not have any cracks or weak spots. They also have both keys. I have re-glued the rubber lid seals, and they probably could be done a little better, but they are in good shape. They've always been kept indoors when...

For Sale 2005 Triumph Rocket III (Needs Work)

87k miles. Asking $3,000. Bike does run, it does shift through all the gears. Waiting on 4 exhaust studs for it, and I will have new exhaust seals installed and the exhaust system bolted back up. The good: Very nice looking red paint. Good Bridgestone tires. Overall condition of the bike...

For Sale SOLD Triumph "Comfort" Shocks

SOLD-- But if you ever run across a pair, they are great shocks. --- Let me start out by saying I LOVE THESE SHOCKS. The Comfort shocks look like the factory shocks but are softer sprung and have much better damping. Why they didn't just use these shocks, I'll never know. They are very...

For Sale Leatherlyke Contemporary Style Saddlebags

These have been great saddlebags. I have had them for years. They install and remove in seconds and are completely rain proof. They also easily clean up to "like-new" condition with a wipe down of Armor All or similar product. The only reason I am selling is because I prefer the leather bags...

    Jardine Exhaust request

I hope so, but I'll believe it when I see it. I love my Rocket III. I have 2 of them at the moment. But the T-Bird is Triumph's baby and the Rocket competes with it. I can't see the Rocket being a huge profit maker. They have discontinued the majority of Rocket III accessories, there are...

    Jardine Exhaust request

Yeah.... I don' think there will be any luck getting Super Trapp to build the Rocket III system. With Triumph dwindling down Rocket III accessories, I don't think the Rocket will be around a whole lot longer. It's already a low volume bike, and they need high volume to make any money.

    Jardines quiet baffles install guide

So you got these Jardine quiet baffles recently? I was about to buy some when they were bought out. The nails with little pegs on top are rivets. You will need to drill the existing rivets out and install the new baffles with the new rivets. You will probably need a rivet gun, which can...

    new indian scout

This new Scout is the first bike that has really caught my eye in years. Pretty much since the Rocket, although at first, I thought the Rocket was the ugliest bike every designed, but with 2300cc, I couldn't stop wanting one.. lol This Scout is a really, really good looking machine..

    talk me out of it

It would idle okay, but run like crap...It will be very boggy on take off You would need to modify the fuel map significantly.. My very well worn Jardines annoy my neighbors quite well.. lol

    Thunderbird?

The day the Thunderbird came out, I figured the writing was on the wall for the Rocket.. The (current) Thunderbird is no Rocket, but it appeals to a much larger audience. I am actually surprised Triumph hasn't killed the Rocket this year as it is a competitor to the Thunderbird and I am...

Will triumph developed the roadster any further

I would not be surprised if the Rocket was killed off this year (10 year mark). I would kill it off if I was Triumph. Why have competing big bore cruisers? The Rocket never has been a hit with the magazine crowd, not a big seller, and I am sure not a huge profit maker for Triumph. Triumph...
