    First time Rocket owner looking for simple advice on oil changes

    Don't try to pour all the oil in at the same time or you will make a mess! pour about 41/2 Quarts in start it up let it run it will go down turn it off, then pour in the rest!(almost 6QT total) Don't use Rotella (tractor oil) Mobil one or any Motorcycle 4t full synthetic ! Torque wrench is must !

    My left side teardrop did the same, I set it where I wanted it then a little epoxy glue ! If you need to move it loosen up your clutch lever and it will move a little.     Transmission problem

    Like Canberra said, if it jumph's out of First its just not in all the Way , make sure you get a clunk- even the new Rockets , before coming to a Dead Stop shift down into First ! I Don't Know the answer to the Second Gear Pop out? Upgraded in 2008 .

    Ray the seat is thicker it makes the reach to the bar's feel Better,having the pegs back puts your feet under you (Better feel) ABS is Good, Guages Good, shock's Good,Power about the same ,Pipes (TOR's) Have a Growl (Good Thing) it will Kill & eat most anything on the Road .
