    Starting a new business

Say Daryl, don't limit yourself to motorcycles. You are into guitars as well so how about a badge I could put on my cheap Garrison G10 that says Gibson or Martin?? The possibilities are endless!!

    How Long do I have??????

If the primary tps goes completely south on you, unplug it and let the bike go into failsafe mode. It won't run great, but it won't run so bad you can't drive it. I drove mine for about 2 weeks like that till I got a new tps put on. The check engine light stayed on, and the power was limited...

    New Marine

Well, the letter was just a Marine Corp form letter with his name scribbled on the bottom, but it gave us his address. I wrote him a letter and mailed it this morning. Hopefully he will be able to write back.

    New Marine

Thanks guys, I guess he is enjoying his first full day of it today. He did the early enlistment program last year and has been going to PT twice a week for the past year, so he is in fairly good shape, but I guess they will still smoke his ass. If he decides to stick with it, the past year...

    New Marine

He doesn't talk much now, George, if he talks less, we'll think he's gone mute! I know he will go to Camp Lejune for weapon training after basic, but from there we have to wait and see. Thanks to you, Oldsprint and Kmutt for the words of encouragement.

    New Marine

My middle son, Chris, is swearing in this morning then hopping on a bus for Parris Island. He's going to have the hottest 3 months of the year there. I am very proud of him, but am also missing him already. I know he will be a different man when I see him at graduation.

    Shinko and Raptor

Only about 25 miles on the Shinko, but honestly I could not tell any differance from the other fronts I have ran. I have been through 2 metzlers, 2 dunlops and one avon on the front. All lasted about 7k. We will see how long the Shinko lasts.

    Shinko and Raptor

Lucille needed some new shoes, so I went with the Raptor 225/55 in the rear [Had it on for a few days and I really like it better than the 245/50 I took off. Can't even tell it's not a motorcycle tire!] and the Shinko 747 for the front. 747 TOURING/CRUISER FRONT RADIAL TIRES - JCWhitney I...

    225/55 16 speedo correction

I am changing rear tires this week from a 245/50 16 Yokohama [Which lasted 16k] to the 225/55 raptor. Is there a tune boy speedo correction figure for this tire, or is there not enough differance in height to matter?

    Stings

I have been stung several times while riding, always by bees or wasps going up my sleeves, but a couple of weeks ago I was riding home from work and saw a huge bug right before it hit my helmet. I didn't think anything of it until I parked the bike and took off my helmet and a big ol' bumble...
