What the hell is 'Chromex'? Sounds like a Mexican after dinner drink?

That bike needs some Brakeline Clamps............................

Sam:

One thing I've noticed with the Jet-Hot is that the older it gets aqnd the more you polish the pipes, the more shiney it becomes. I presume your Nomex-Chromex is a plasma sprayed on heat cure coating like the Jet-Hot. If so, my new coated headers came back looking almost like hard chrome, that is, sort of mottled and dull. Over the years, repeated washing and polishing (remember the T is a show, not go bike), they have almost achieved the reflectability of chrome. I say 'almost'. They will never have the surface finish of Nickle Chrome but they are getting close.

u.p.s.

they'll be there Wednesday,sam,between 2 & 7 p.m. so says u.p.s.

i'll be getting the v. 2's back from cradin on saturday, i hope they turn out ok....

meanwhile,i need to find a sissy bar/back rack so i can start setting up for new ulm. i'm really looking foward to that and meeting some fellow texas r3 brothers. the contingent is getting substantial.i'm also looking forward to flip's saddle bag kit, it might be ready soon if all goes well. all in all, every thing is good.

I just want to thank you all on this thread for making my life more difficult because if I have any tax money after buying new tires for the truck I was thinking about getting a tune boy but now I an thinking the new Preditor pipes... No tune boy... No pipes... No tune boy... No pipes see what I mean thanks. I guess I will have to see them there pipes in person to look and listen to them. I want them in black though.
