I agree that performance is achieved through better combinations, nevertheless there's an obvious positive change in the way the engine runs with PC III. Meaning that the stock tune is definitely made to comply with other (EPA, etc...) issues. The engine runs really too lean. I noticed that the pipes earlier glowed red and not anymore with new mapping.
So considering the smoother engine revs, there must be a good cocktail (mapping) for any configuration combining engine life time and rider vibes.
