Rivco Risers

I just boiught some of the Rivco Risers to put on the R3T, has anyone here put them on? Pretty easy Mod? I have been asked join a group for a weekend ride and every time I ride more than 4 hours straight it makes my neck and top of my shoulders hurt, I am hoping this is a fix.

Rainman put the rivco risers on my r3t for christmas and also a different clutch cable.
It was easy to do and it sure makes a big difference. They say you dont have to get a longer clutch cable all you have to do is reroute the original but they got me a longer one anyway. This way there is no chance of it getting pinched.

Good Luck

I live in KY and bought my bike at Castle Powersports in Nashville. When the tire recall came out I found out they only sold mine and one more, are you the other one?

I put the Rivco risers on in about 20 minutes. Put a blanket or stack of towels over the tank ! I did re route the clutch cable.
That part took an hour. I ended up removing one end from the clutch and had to fiddle around to get the tension back to where it was supposed to be.

Cool, I have always wondered who bought the other R3T out of the store where I bought mine. That is one thing I like about this bike, you don't see them everywhere.

You don't need a longer clutch cable. You just route it to the inside of the bars instead of the outside. I hate to be a party pooper, but I got the same neck and shoulders tension when riding the R3T. I tried the Rivcos and added a rider backrest. Neither helped. I bet I tried tweaking the bars up and down 5 or 6 times. Nothing helped.

How tall are you? Are you a big guy? I am 6'3" and scale out at 330. I have a 37' sleeve. If we are close in size I will return them and same the money.
