| | | Just discovered this site and forum Awesome!! Any of you have engine guards? Bought them, but haven't put them on yet, not sure if they'll look good or too bulky, but good protection eh?
Anyone in the Washington, DC area? Up for a ride this Sunday, maybe to the mountains? Fishbein |

| | | Traveling Hey Fishbien,
I live in Frederick, MD but i have to leave for a business trip on Sunday. Maybe another time. Plus, the deer are very active. I've hit one before and I'm now spooked on those country roads in the fall. I did however do a couple of hundred miles this Wednesday when it was 80 degrees. Got it back in the garage before dusk.
Take care,
Carl |

| | | Hey Rocketswede, so I guess you don't do long distance riding...
Cktire: Dude, I hear ya, gotta watch out for those deer...I ride all year, except very cold winter or bad conditions (snow/ice). Let me know when you're up for it, maybe this Sunday. I have fun and give it some go of course, but I ride safe (started in '89).

| | | Guards They work very well have the Triumph bars front and rear.
They look good, you hardly notice them.

mjbell1 | Cool, I was going to put them on myself, but looks like a bit of a pain. Did you do them yourself? I put on the rack, mirrors, floorboard plates, etc....easy, but this looks like you gotta take the center screw out of the engine block....not sure I want to mess w/ it. | | |
