parts for 2008, fit on 2007?

Does the seat , crash bars and other parts the fit the 2008 touring fit on the 2007 classic tourer? Am I better of to get the Rivco crash bars rather than the Triumph?
Thanks
Cal

I don't know about the seat. Triumph has release some sturdier crash bars that you can use on your Rocket. A bunch of other stuff that can be used on both bikes is available this year also. http://www.triumph.co.uk/usa/5786.aspx

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Minnroad ,
I 'm not sure whats interchangable off the 2008 touring to the 2007
classic touring .
Just and educated guess on my part , I doubt the seats will swap
2008 has smaller rear fender , so could be more narrow and have a different curve
and possible different latching assembly .
The Triumph crash bars would probably fit , since they are engine mounted ,
and that still the same

I think even the upgraded Triumph crash bars are still weak
and break easliy , from what I've heard.
I don't own either brand Rivco or Triumph , but from what I've read
on TRIUMPH forums I'd get Rivco bars , they are made better & way
stronger and can be fitted with hiway pegs and not break.
One I know and rode with got Triumph to replace his ( under warranty )
I think 3 different times .
They snapped off from hiway peg usage...... Rivco's DON'T break
I'd get them

wayne
