I was just on the phone with Hermy's Triumph to clarify some part numbers they have listed for the fuel tank pump seal on my Rocket. I plan to replace the tank fuel filter and I wanted to make sure I ordered the correct part number as they had two numbers listed. The T2401367 is the most current number by the way.
Anyway, I took the conversation around to the valve check interval on the Rocket 3. He said he thought that Triumph had recently changed that and he was able to pull up this document and send it to me as a PDF. It may have been posted before.....As was recently mentioned in another post, the valve check has been moved to 20K and 40k. I am posting the PDF as a jpg file from my iPad, but take note of the date at the bottom of the document...I believe it translates to 01/16/2016. The last forum post I read was by a member who said he had talked directly to the factory and they had indeed change the interval to 20k and 40k. This topic has been beaten to death in the past and I hope it can now be put to rest.
Anyone care to comment, as I don't plan to bare the major expense of this particular service event at 10K. All the other work I can and will be doing myself, with most of it being done already. Opps...I forgot to post the picture...here it is
