Also if you take some pictures of the clutch basket and cam chain guides we will be able to tell if anyone has done any updates to her. Especially the cam outboard chain guide the adjuster side. The update kits changed the guide.
Also if your not going to build a engien and want to consider buying one and stuff her in the bike I would look at something like this
11 Triumph Rocket Motor * GUARANTEED * 3 III #234 Engine
It is out of a touring 12k on her but has all the updated stuff in her already. If your bike is in great shape it is worth thinking about. You can find older motors but if they are not updated you could be rolling the dice or spending the money to update it before you put it back in.

I took my transmission to Carpenter, because I didn't trust anyone local, especially my dealer, LOL. Came away with undercut gears and a billet 4th gear, seems rock solid now.
