You may be aware already ?. but for those---(like me) who didn't know..

Basically, if you use a smartphone, the picture will have GPS location data embedded, the time you took the photo and the type of smartphone used!!!

Right click the bike's photo, copy the URL onto the webpage and Bish Bash Bosh - he has the Lat/Long GPS data for your house :ninja:. It even loads a google satellite image.:banghead:

So beware everyone. The scumbags are smarter than they used to be.

Here's a link that tells you How to Disable Geotagging on Your Smartphone’s Camera (Android, iPhone, BlackBerry)

Let's test that ...

My truck ...

No GPS data for the truck pic, although I downloaded the last pic I posted to the forum and it does contain the GPS data. Most social media sites strip the EXIF (GPS and other) data from pictures. This forum doesn't appear to. I'm not overly concerned, but it good to know.

Actually, my phone does store location data. The pic of my truck was auto uploaded to my Google Photos account and auto-analyzed in a multitude of interesting ways leading to a massive invasion if my privacy

However, this site does strip meta-data on uploaded jpg/png images in order to minimize storage requirements o_O

Oh, come on, if you want to steal a bike, they're not that hard to find, they're everywhere.

But not all have the parts you're after!.

The thing about SMART phones is it seems on average to reduce the IQ of the user proportionally.
You've guessed - I don't have a cellphone.
