So took the binoculars out today .. was indeed an old Valiant I'd spied sitting in the shed down the back of the paddock. Long story short I bought it for $750.1979 CM , Charger engine too ;) Be able to use a lot of the other parts on the Hardtop. Can't bring myself to pull apart the VE .. its so original it seems criminal to dismantle it out just for the front guards, grill and a few other bits. Richard you should buy it , it's a beautiful original old car.

OK, got any suggestions on how I get it here?

Drive it of course ;) car originally came from Melbourne , so it's done the Nullabor before . So the ROADTRIP is on , who's got the passenger seat (primo spot) and the back bench is up for grabs fellas.

Bloody hell went from no car to 3 cars in 2 days. You better stay home for a few days.

No car to 3 Mopars ,well done! nothing like driving a car that everyone used to have and still wish they had kept,I get ear bashed all the time when I am out in the Customline ,by someone who thinks they know all about them and could have bought one in the 70s for $100 I always say I did and here it is :sneaky:

Mine will be just as tidy as the yellow one in $15,000's time .. hahaha.

Turns out my 'shed find' down on Lower Denmark Road is actually a 1979 CM Le Baron , only made 400 of them. If it wasn't completely rooted I'd be rich .. hahaha
