Another tip; if you don't want to glue the clutch grip into place.

I found that if you put three evenly spaced stripes of electrical tape on the handle bar and then carfully twist the iso grip back and forth until its in place you dont need to glue it.

Great advice, slipped a screwdriver between the grip and the handlebar, a little squirt of oil, a little twist and off she came. Total of 30 seconds I'm sure. No small sets crews to worry about.

I had the grip sliding so I removed the 4 alen screws and drill taped the end cap the handle bar is already threaded .no more issues with grip moving
I used stainless steel screws and i nicked the screw to use it to tap thread into the end cap as the tap point was too long before it would start to tread the hole , you only have 4 mm to work with

Double check there aren't any small screws up under the rubber of the clutch grip where it meets the switch housing. From memory there were 2 or 3 on my R3T heated grips when I went to remove them.
