R3T batwing fairing from Reckless Motorcycles.

Personally I don't get the whole stereo-on-a-bike thing anyway. Why would anyone want it when you can have in-ear monitors and actually hear the music? But to each his own.

When I got mine Reckless didn't offer one to fit the R3T. They told me they didn't have a R3T to measure for the brackets.
I made my own mounting brackets and they must hold the fairing closer to the bars.

Ya; yours looks a little nicer.

So looks like I've settled on a fairing from Wide Open Custom Fairings.

My only concern is ABS Plastic vs fibreglass.

The wide opens are a FRACTION of the price but are ABS Plastic.

Any thoughts lads?

Tsukayu have a 40% off sale right now on fairings. So around $800- for a fibreglass fairing with stereo. I have their hard bags on my 05 and the quality is decent.

I've heard somd customer service horror stories to be honest...

I just looked at my spot lights. If the angled brackets that hold the spots were rotated 180 degrees, it would move the lights ahead 3/4", which would probably be enough. Alternatively, a piece of 1" wide metal ? long with 2 holes drilled could be mounted between the same angled brackets and the light bar, moving the lights ahead whatever distance you need. Canadian Tire sell metal in 3' lengths. Sorry cannot post pictures at present (camera is toast). Hope this helps

The angled brackets are bolted directly to the spotlights (look from the side of the bike). All most U shaped. You would have to unbolt the light, rotate the bracket, refasten the light.
