Had to set the camera on the car in video mode but managed to pull off a half decent shot. Seating is not that bad in my opinion.
looks like it be good for shorter rides don't know if I would like that position for an all day long ride and I take it they don't hit the tank

They're close to the tank but they are clear. As compared to what seating position I'm used to on a sport bike it's still pretty comfortable. I haven't had it out yet since I'm waiting on parts from the powder coat shop tho :/

I like the black color of the bars....adds a very different look (Much more than I would have thought).

Had my Standard handlebars powder coated satin black for years .. even had Triumph salesmen ask me what bars they are .. does change the look.

Just picked up 23 pieces from powder coat today. Now to hopefully find some nylon washers here local to get them safely installed :)

Well, done for now. Until I get around to fabbing up my license plate and rear turn signal brackets. I'm happy so far :)

Hanso you're right about this set up being ok for shorter rides, personally I dont have as much time as I would like for going on day long trips right now. When that time comes I will probably switch to OEM bars and get those powdercoated black. My last two bikes I had were 08 Aprilia Tuono and 2011 T-bird storm (both great bikes BTW), the riding position on the Roadster now is somewhere in between the two, which is perfect for me right now.

The machinist (that was a pretty good movie BTW:D), could you post pic from the top angle to see how the bars look like from the riders position? Those instrument gauges look pretty sweet in black, did you get those powdecoated as well, or since I think they're plastic did you get them painted?

I will try to get a picture for you today sometime. As for the finish on them. I scuffed the chrome with red scotch brite, then used an adhesion promoter and finished them off with rustoleum truck bed coating. I did this with all of my plastic pieces.
