Triumph motorcycles enters Qatar in exclusive agreementBy the Staff of Clutch and Chrome
March 14th, 2008

With all the news headlines centering around a certain Milwaukee motorcycle manufacturer breaking down trade barriers around the world, it would be easy to forget other companies are staking their claim in foreign two-wheeled markets.
Triumph motorcycles, one of the few motorcycle companies to avoid a slowdown in sales in any of their markets has announced its debut in Qatar, an Arab emirate in Southwest Asia.

The country, known for its extreme wealth has a sole and exclusive importer for the very first time in the Middle East, with Alfardan Motorcycles selling the British legend.

Omar Alfardan, President of Alfardan Motorcycles said: “As a premium provider of top luxury products in Qatar, we take pride in adding another distinguished brand to our diversified portfolio of the world's best. Triumph asserts our focus on raising the bar of the luxury industry in Qatar; its products, corporate values and philosophy perfectly mirror what Alfardan Motorcycles, and consequently, the Alfardan Group stand for.”

Carrying the complete Triumph line of Streetfighters, Supersports, Adventure Sports and Sports Touring bikes, the Qatar public will have the opportunity to buy all the unique character, real world performance and a distinctive triple roar that comes from the British motorcycle.
The Country was the recent scene of the opening race for the 2008 MotoGP season.
