Looks like I will be heading to Temple, TX to watch some drag racing this weekend instead of going to the soccer game. If anyone wants to Temple, come on.. It's just a bunch of slow Harleys, but still should be alot of fun. One of my good friends from Shreveport, LA called my wife and asked if I could go.. lol Kind of like asking if I can come out and play.. lol So, he's heading down here Friday and we'll ride up there Saturday morning. They do have a bike show, so I might have to enter that atleast.

Texas Scooter Times

I'd love to see some drag racing, but as you know I gots plans... At least we both get in a warm up trip for E.S. You may want to practice wearing your rain gear if this big, fat, stupid hurricaine comes through.

I practiced riding in the rain last Friday... without rain gear!

Man I hope not. I'll certainly ride in the rain, but not my fav. I still haven't figured out how to keep my bike clean while riding in the rain

Cleaning the bike is the worst part! I will have to say, my Harley Road Glide was easier to clean than my R-III.. lol But my R-III looks REALLY good when it's clean!

I'll have my can of waterless cleaner along.

Oh well.. my date cancelled.. Can't make it all the way up to Hico though.. Will probably to the right thing and be a soccer dad first thing in the morning, then come home and actually do something like mow the yard or something... lol

I'm mowing today, and may have to before I leave on thursday unless I want to bail hay when I get back. I got the Roc nice and clean so I can get it dirty this weekend and have to clean it up for the trip all over again. But if it looks like rain the whole way up to E.S. I may just skip that 2nd washing.
