Welcome from New Jersey, Mate.

The Rivco center stand is an overpriced POS that has fitment problems (inconsistently spaced mounting points). It is to be avoided unless you want a DIY project .

Meanwhile, enjoy the ride, Captain!

Welcome! From New York USA! No center stand yet except that POS from rivco! Now there is a stand that is made by flipmeister which is used for maintenance. It is made to take on and off and uses a cam action to lift the bike up. I dont even know if you can get the R3T up on a center stand its so heavy! At the top of the page is a link to his site. Several of us use it and it works well.

Can you be more specific? I would say not pulling in the clutch at all would make getting into 1st gear a dicey proposition (depending on what you're aimed at).

Check your clutch play is correct (2 mm).

When I saw Hellfire's post I knew this was a necropost. I imagine he is talking 1st from neutral, for some reason it tends to pop out if you go from neutral to first, I also let the clutch out a bit and keep the shifter pressed, it works. Never a problem from second to first, only from neutral, no idea why.
