I have a Nov 07 Mulberry Red Speedmaster and in the mechanics workshop a Jan 08 R3. It's only done 2k klm's and needs new output torque bearing replaced, the parts are here Triumph have sent newer gears, wiring harness and bearings, so just waiting for them to be put into the r3 so i can enjoy the great thrill of riding that monster. I have been browser the site for a week or so and there are a lot of great tips and ideas thanks for having me aboard

Welcome to the site. I assume the bearing failed in an '08 Rocket?

Sorry 'bout that

JC...... Glad you've joined the madness and fun but I hope your R3 gets out of the hospital real soon. Not a great way to start your relationship with the beast..... but that means it's only going to get better.

From Tamworth? Yoll come back now, y'hear. Welcome aboard. Bit confused reading about your R3...shirley it can't be broken all ready? How hard did you ride it? Don't answer that, cos it should handle any hard!
Hope things improve soon. All the best from Perth

Welcome to the forum. I'm curious as to the lubrication source for this bearing?

Triumph have sent an 08 upgrade kit for my R3 the new bearing is sealed they believe that because its close to the primary drive metal filings may have got caught in the bearing and destroyed it
