| | | Avon Tire Pics I figured I would load some pics of tha Avons mounted on a Rocket. Notice, in addition to the cute little Cobra on the side, they also have "snake-skin" side walls!
I will have to say, I can't compare them to new Metzlers, because the last time I had a new Metz rear was 10,000 miles ago. I have been so used to riding on a wore out flat profile Metzler, that I'm not used to just leaning and the bike leans.. hard! Cutting corners even harder than I intended to at first!.. I've got about 30 miles on them now. Too soon to tell anything other than they handle much, MUCH better than my wore out Metzlers.. I'll post more about them as I notice anything though. |

| | | I can't wait to hear how the tires work out. I have to admit, the scales on the sidewall are pretty cool.

| | | Texas,
Did you give up on the beetlebags, or did you hav'em off for the pictorial?
Speaking of which, where's the hottie that supposed to be draped all over the bike when a picture is being taken...? |

| | LOL.. The hottie is in the house fixin' dinner, where she belongs!.. Oops, better not let her see this or I'll end up riding b$tch on the back of her bike or something!
I just have the bags off because I'm really not a bagger person, but bags are too convenient. I'm actually thinking of selling the Corbins and my TORs/cat-bypass, so I can get either a Jardine or Predator exhaust system and some Leatherlyke bags, or.. a D&D slip-on, Progressive 412 shocks, and Leatherlyke bags.
Just a thought though at the moment, because the bike is running so good right now as is. |

| | They would only be on it during trips, such as Eureka Springs, but would come off and come into the hotel for the stay...kind of like a suit case..
Anyway, mostly just a thought.. I big thought, but just a thought. I probably just should buy Progessive 412s and some replacement mirrors and shut up.. lol |
