I had a pillion rider for the first time this weekend (my daughter) and she said she felt a lot of vibration in the seat and pegs compared to my old Valkyrie. Is that normal for an R3 or should I be checking wheel balance etc.? What do your passengers tell you?

Slow down. Or holy shit this bike is fast. Or the wife usually says, "Don't ever do that again when I am on here."

Haven't had any complaints. However, my passengers haven't been on anything but Triumphs.

I don't know what the complaints might be, but I do know that the young lady riding with me likes the vibrations; says it turns her on! Maybe you should ride your daughter on the Honda and your wife on the Triumph!!!

I was going to go there until he mentioned it was his daughter.. lol You can buy passenger seats for that...

None of my passengers, wife, daughter or son have complained about vibrations in the foot pegs and such though. Is your bike running smooth? Has the exhaust been removed and replaced? If so, are the passenger pegs tight? That's the only things I can think of.

My wife complained about peg vibration on my HD Street Bob. She loves my R3Touring, however. She has floorboards instead of pegs and the bike is really smooth.

Wouldn't there be more vibration on the rear pegs by default? They are closer to the rear shocks, wheel, brakes, swing arm, etc. Also, aren't the rear pegs attached directly to the frame and the front pegs are attached to a rail that is then attached to the frame that would absorb more vibration than the rears?

I'll have to go out and look.
