runs on 98 octane ( Australia) do give better mpg than the cheap (er) 91 octane.
Does the sensor adjust? i seriously doubt it. Running 91 in the lawnmower, i get an unburnable liquid residue left in the tank after a few mows...

prolly its fulla shit/water etc. hence the better mpg from the higher quality 98 fuel.. more BTU's means less right hand for the same performance.However the price diff( close on 10 pct more) means theres no saving.. but cleaner fuel has got to be better for the bike .Personally i go for the half way house & use 95 fuel.
