Thumbs up Kitty is gone!

Just got through putting on the cat delete and I really like the way it sounds and runs. Gives it a little bit of rumble but not TOR's kind of loud. Only drove it around the block but my first impression is good. Now for my next silly question regarding taking off the rear tire. How do you get the back brake off? Do you remove the carter pins and one half of the brake comes off or what. I really need to get a manuel on this thing. That's the next question, where can you get a shop manuel, something more in deft than the owners manuel. Thanks.

You can buy it at your dealer or online. There is a guy selling them on disc on ebay. Or you can preview it here..

you need to pull the rear axle, and what they call the torque reactive bolt (front bolt that keeps the sucker from spinning under braking) new pads are simple but keep a eye on the anti vibration spring, it can be a trick.
Isn't there a PDF file of the manual floating around somewhere?

Just removed my back brake pads the other day to check their wear. Just remove the two cotter pins on the back top of the brake assembly. The pin that you take the cotter pins out of will now slide toward the inside of the wheel. When this is out the brake pads are now free to come out. Just give them a little push forward and down. A simple 5 minute job.
