Jardine exhaust

Hi has anyone with Jardines exhaust ever taken the baffals out and does it sound more deeper and louder? And if so do you have a audio of it?
Or has anyone ever just taken the fiberglass rap off?
Or cut the baffal in half?
Could anyone tell me what would sound the best?
I like the sound of the Jardines but I just wish they are little louder and deeper at idle.

Dang!!!! cane you got some tough ears cuz Damaged can barely handle the sound of the Jardins with the baffles in.

There are just two rivets holding them in . Drill em out and try them with them out. if you dont like it , put them back in with a couple of nice looking screws from the hardware store.

A good question would be....Will the toon you have be able to adjust to the increased flow.
Hopefully some one with more knowhow will chime in.

Jardine Exhaust

Damaged, My ears are fine there are a lot of Harleys here a lot louder, I like my Jardines but just wish they where a little louder at idle
Like my friend Wingandaprayer, he has D&D's with the baffal out and sound nice at idle and ridding with him.
But I just wish I could here some Jardines with out the baffal or with out the rap on .
This sight I would think there is some guys out there that as done this but surprised I don't understand why I'm not getting any response out of all the Rocket guys on this sight that has Jardines
I found out you need some kind of tool to take the Jardines out without damage so I would need to pay some one to do it, and thats why I want to hear different ways how people did it or get some kind of feed back on which way to do it to have the best sound and a little louder because I only want to pay once.
And I don't want to lose any power I just want to inhance the sound a little without going deaf and want to know the best way to do it? And would be even better if I could hear a audio so I could compare it to mine before I spend any money hope I can get some help.

Cane,
I have Jardines (the old ones without the fiberglass wrap) and they're pretty loud.

They aren't nearly as loud as a Harley running wide open.

I would suggest that you go and hear them instead of trying to judge by an audio file. It won't give you an appreciation for how loud they are until you're standing behind them when someone is banging on the throttle.

I, too, have heard that you can destroy the baffle trying to pull them out. I understand that it's not as simple as drilling out the two rivets, but I'm not going to try it because my hearing is bad enough.

Good Luck!

Jardines

hello all,
I removed the baffels on my Jardines (with fiberglass wrap) using a seal puller for oil field equipment (works perfectly)...they are super loud...actually I think too loud. I havent changed the tune, but It still runs well...
Oh yeah, much deeper too...

Jardine Exhaust

Thanks Ratboy and texastriple,
I know Audio is not the best way to hear how loud the Jardines is without the rap or without any baffals. But I do not know anyone that has done this in Seattle that I can go lisen to. So it would really help if you guys could send me or put up an audio and I could compare it to my stock Jardines on audio so a least I could have some idea on which way I would like to try first. Thanks

Could you play a regular Jardine sound clip but just turn it up louder?

Depends on how much packing you are going to take out.
