Stop n Go Tire Plugs

Many of you suffered with me when I drilled through my tire. Many of you also made fun of me! That's OK too! I just wanted to make you all aware of a product I just discovered as a result of my misery. Stop n Go Tire Plugs work great when you have a puncture, as I did. They are easy to use and the whole kit would be small enough to be very portable. I don't plan on pushing my luck on the roads with a plug, but it'll get her on the trailer so I can get the tire changed. Thanks for all the laughs!

You very well may be able to patch the tire from the inside.

You drilled your tire?? Sorry I missed that post. I mount and balance my own tires and have done so for about 27 years. I mounted a tire once and left a rim saver inside. I learned from my mistake and haven't repeated it. I always have a tire plug kit with CO2 when I head out on trips. Your right, it's not a good habit but it will get you home or to a repair shop. I picked up a knife blade in my rear tire in SC. I had to put two plugs on the plug tool to seal the cut but it got me back home to NC.

Yes, drilled by tire while installing front fender rails on the R3T. These plugs worked great, although I trailered it to the dealer as opposed to riding it with the plug. It did hold air overnight, so I'm pretty sure I could have ridden the 5 miles, but decide not to take the chance.

Picked up my Rocket III and the old tires including the plugged one. It was pretty impressive looking from the inside. It looks like it would really hold. I'm keeping it as a backup!
