In Harrisburg area, we are betting a foot plus which is a lot for here and people freak! I great up in upstate NY and went to college in Oswego, north of Syracuse on Lake Ontario. We got upwards of 200 inches per year a couple years when I was there. Literally snowed every day from December to March!

Until I fire up the big Honda snowblower, I'm digging the serenity.

Had to drive 4 hours each way up to St. Mary's, PA today to see relatives. Tomorrow, I fire up the Cub Cadet with the snowblower on the front. That should be fun! I'd still rather ride something with two wheels!

Next Day

It stopped snowing about 6pm last night finally. Almost noon the next day and still no sign of a snowplow anywhere in our neighborhood. Take a look at HB's car. It is German so the damn thing will probably dig itself out. I am sure the Christmas retailers must be cursing a blue streak, although our local Wally World was open all day through the worst of the storm.

I'd like to add that my fine german auto did not dig itself out. My back hates me right now.

The family on Wayne St two houses up from you did an excellent job of burying their full sized Ford pick up so that it completely blocks the road.

My Jamacan neighbor across the street (only 2nd season EVER in the cold), moved his giant toyota four door long bed pickup (2wd) out of the driveway and into the street. Since it wouldn't make it up the hill, he left it in the street to clear out the driveway, where another neighbor promply plowed into it with their big SUV when they lost control coming down the hill.
I don't need to go anywhere .... got all the entertainment I need just looking out the window!

They say it's 24" here, but I only see 20". Still, I think that's enough.
