Barsnake Installation on standard Rocket

I tried to install a 1" barsnake in my handlebars to no avail. Has anyone done so?

You can't because of the design of the handlebar. The bar ends mount to a cross welded plate on the ends. You only option is change bars or fill the bars with small shot like No.8 birdshot which will be appreciably cheaper than the barsnake and available at any gun shop.

bar snake

I was thinking of doing it and my dealer said that the bar snake comes in a liquid and that could be used I think it was about $65.00 but my dealer wanted $100.00 to do it but you need to take your handle bars off and tip them on its side and take the throttle side off and poor it in they and let sit for four hours.
One day when my bike needs to go in for something I'll then have them do it.

Barsnake

I tried to no avail. Rip the end cap off and there was no way to pull the barsnake through. Heating it up lubing it up , nothing worked.

I never considered the Rocket a handlebar shaker except above 100 mph. Obviously you've never ridden a vertical twin or a big single.
