The one thing Im really missing from my BMW is cruise control. Triumph said they were gonna have it as an option, but Im not holding my breath. What is everyone using? Im leaning towards a Throttlemeister, but Im open for suggestions

| I was surprised to learn the R3T didn't have cruise. I still bought it, but I would've decided a lot faster had it had cruise. | | |

| Ive got the throttlemiester throttle lock and its great it take the touchiness of the throttle , I find it hard to hold the throttle totally still with that torque on hand but what Ive read flips trick might save you a few bucks but its always nice to have a twitchy throttle every now and then when a screamin eagle v rod wants to play | | |

#7 | | | Flipmeister 50 cent but (no offense) im just an ok fan of the trick. Ive been eyeing the breakaway throttle lock. Almost 200 bucks but it locks the throttle and theres a linkage that extends to the front brake lever and when applied it mechanically removes the cruise (or lock) on the throttle or you can use your thumb to disengage it. Seems like a good choice to me.

| I took the BreakAway throttle lock off my old bike and installed in on the Rocket.
The brake lever on the Rocket is much thicker and did quite fit with the brake release. So I just adjusted / set it out of the way. I only use the thumb lock anyway, so it wasn't a issue.
I really don't care for true cruise control. I only need to lock the throttle for a few moments to stretch my arm / hands. Then it's back on the throttle. Works for me.

| I use the throttle meister ... I hardly ever "lock" it down. I mostly use it to take the twitchyness out of the throttle and let go to light my smokes.
I've often wondered if I should have gotten the bigger vibration damper model. Anyone have the monster ends, and do they help smooth out the vibes?
